Ryan mcneil
Ryan McNeil attended the U of A School of Business, finishing his Bachelor of Commerce Degree in December 2004. He immediately followed that by completing his MBA at the University of Wollongong, in Australia. Upon returning to Canada in late 2006, he was hired as the Controller and ultimately VP of Finance and Administration for Panel Source International Inc., a midmarket environmentally friendly forest product distributor, with offices in St. Albert, AB and Tacoma, Wa. During this time he completed his CMA designation. In 2010 he moved to the VP of Finance position for Paradox Access Solutions Inc., overseeing the Finance and Accounting departments in a high growth oil field services company. After leaving in 2012, Ryan acted as an accounting consultant, before joining Norpoint in 2013; again overseeing all accounting and finance functions for the Edmonton based industrial coating company. Ryan joined the ownership team in 2013, and has been central to the acquisition of two additional companies since, Venger Coatings and Paris Construction Company Ltd. As an owner, director and member of the executive management team for these companies, Ryan continues to oversee and be actively engaged in all of the accounting functions of these companies. Mike mcewan
Mike McEwan CPA is a Alberta School of Business alumni and Senior Manager in EY’s National Accounting and Assurance service line. Throughout his tenure in public practice, Mike has lead engagement teams providing assurance and business advisory services to countless clients, from not-for- profit organizations to some of the largest publicly listed entities in Edmonton. When he is not off travelling the world, Mike is actively involved in the Firm’s learning and recruitment initiatives and, as a result of his recent specialization, is regularly sought by executives across western Canada to consult on technical accounting and assurance issues impacting private companies.
